Improbiz is the trading name of Business Improvement Ltd. The company was started by Alan Edmonds in August 2008 with the aim of providing organisations, their leaders and teams help with situation analysis, advice, coaching, training and development support.
This can be delivered in the form of bite size and one day workshops through to formal qualifications and longer term project involvement.
Alan started his career as an apprentice in the Plastics Engineering and Manufacturing sector with Reed International, later to become Caradon Plc. Through the company’s management development programme he was able to attend University as a mature student and finally gain a Masters in Business Administration.
Having spent a couple of years working in Middle East and later getting involved with acquisitions and mergers back in the UK, Alan decided to move into venture capital backed SME’s. Alan’s roles included that of General Manager, Technical Director and Managing Director of an automotive components business working with world class OEM’s.
After a period of interim management and spending some time in China developing new products, sourcing tooling and parts, Alan moved into education and qualified as a teacher and then Curriculum Management. Lecturing in Management, Business strategy and Marketing at Chichester College.
Now back running his own business Alan has a wide range of experience and skills that can help leaders and managers improve their business and develop their own management and leadership skills, or help their teams to work more effectively.
